Brenda Riddle has designed a beautiful finishing kit for our 2009 Designer Mystery Block of the Month^TM. The simple to piece straight setting, with a fresh green setting with accenting stars, will frame your sampler blocks beautifully and finish your quilt with a touch of sparkle. The deep brown border and rich red binding complement the sashing with just the right contrast, and the gorgeous center ties it all together. You will have a quilt to treasure for years to come!

The finished size of the quilt is 78" x 78". Finishing kit includes the sashing, borders and binding. Order your backing set separately.

The Fat Quarter Shop is thrilled to offer the newest Moda Block of the Month, Green Piece! This exquisite 10-month block of the month quilt combines pieced blocks with artistic wool applique blocks and features fabrics from the upcoming collections: Aster Manor by 3 Sisters, Alliance Collection for a Cause by Howard Marcus, Vine Creek by Kansas Troubles Quilters, Blessings by Brannock and Patek and Close to My Heart by Laundry Basket Quilts. The 76" x 76" quilt also uses 10 solid Moda wool colors for the applique blocks.

Each month you will receive the pattern and fabric to complete two pieced blocks and two wool applique blocks. Throughout the BOM you will also receive the fabrics for the center block, borders and binding. Our BOM program has enhanced instructions, color photos, Brenda Riddle's wool tutorial and is pattern tested. You will receive generous amounts of fabric to complete the quilt. Your BOM will include over 14 yards of cotton fabric plus a specialty wool kit.
