Block of the Month Quilts & Programs
Block of the month quilts are an exciting and easy way to complete a quilt without spending a lot of time at one sitting. You pay a one time membership fee then everything else is automatic! Each month you will receive a block of the month pattern and fabrics for that month's quilt block. You construct the block, then wait for the next block kit. At the end of the program, you have all the quilt blocks made and ready to put the quilt together into a beautiful finished product!

Creating Block of the Month Quilts
Life can be stressful, and if you're going, going, going all the time, the last thing you need is to lose your mind over planning and sewing a quilt. Stitching should be a relaxing, pleasurable activity – and that's exactly what our Block of the Month programs are designed for.
When you subscribe to receive a Block of the Month (BOM) quilt kit, you'll receive the instructions, pattern and fabric for a new quilt block once a month. This process will repeat monthly until you've completed all the blocks for your quilt top.
The next step is finishing, and we support you there, too. You'll receive the binding to finish the job – just follow the instructions we provide. To ensure you get Block of the Month quilts that match your expertise, we've indicated the difficulty level in the details. Whether you're a beginning quilter or a seasoned stitcher, you can subscribe to our quilt Block of the Month with confidence.

What Is Not Included in Monthly Quilt Kits?
Most quilt Block of the Month kits include the quilt top fabric, the binding and instructions. The backing fabric, thread and any batting you want to use are not included in Block of the Month quilt kits.
Do You Sell the Backing Fabric and Notions for Block of the Month Quilt Kits?
Absolutely! Many times, the style of backing fabric for Block of the Month quilts has been pre-selected, so all you have to do is click to order. Of course, if you'd like to use a different backing fabric, that's always an option. And you can find the thread and all the quilting notions you need to complete your quilt project right here at Fat Quarter Shop.
Do You Have Other Quilt Kits Besides Block of the Month?
