Could be better. Review by Linda

Doesn't get hot enough. I use a wool mat and still doesn't do as well as I would like. Will probably sell it.

Unbelievably Light! Review by Katherine
Rating

I struggle with hand and wrist issues and have tried many irons over the years — from the Oliso iTouch to several other “travel” irons. I’ve also added wool pressing mats to try to decrease the number of pressing steps because constant pressing during patchwork construction has only become more uncomfortable over time. This little iron is by far the best solution yet! I can’t believe how light it is, and unlike other very small irons, it has a nice edge to help avoid folds/puckers on seams. There is no steam option which is probably why it can be so light, but on balance, I’ll take the very light weight over the tiny water reservoirs in other travel irons. (Lightly misting the wool pressing mat with water once a sewing session seems to help, too.) For quilt tops or other large pressing/ironing tasks, I’ll happily get out my Oliso, but for patchwork creation, this is what I’ll be using from now on.
