Still love this ruler Review by Cynthia

This is my second review of this ruler. I have made beautiful blocks from random fat quarters I had in my stash. There is a lot of wiggle room so I don't have to fret over having each sewing step perfect. It is fun to use the cutting markings on the ruler to make different designed blocks. I recommend this ruler to be in every ruler stash.

Fun Review by Cynthia

I am using my fat quarters to make these blocks. I am mixing fabrics that I would never thought would go together. I think the tip to cut an angle from the center point seams is genius. My blocks lay flat with no bump in the middle. If you take time to prep the fabric and pin the block will be perfect. What I discovered is this requires a full 1/4 seam not a scant 1/4 seam. A scant 1/4 seam make the star bigger and maybe compromise the 1/4 allowance from the outside points. If you are want to use the scant 1/4 then make the strips a 1/4 wider.

Starburst ruler on youtube Review by Sandra

I watched your video on you tube, beautiful block!
My question is about angling the point at the center. It looks like you started 1/4 inch in and then angled about an inch up. Yet the sewing appears to go all the way to the end. Confused. Could you post a diagram of the cut and angle part?
