Every quilt kit we sell is Fat Quarter Shop approved! That means we thoroughly review each quilt making kit to ensure the pattern is accurate, clear and complete, the quilt fabric requirements are correct and that you receive the proper amounts of fabric with some room to spare. In most cases, we make the complete quilt kit ourselves before we sell it. If we are not 100% comfortable with any part of the quilting kits, we will correct it ourselves. What Are Block of the Month Quilt Kits?
Some of our most popular manufacturers and designers have a Block of the Month that spotlights a particular fabric and pattern. The blocks are themed many different ways, but the common thread is that the quilt is split into monthly shipments, so you are making one block or one part of the quilt each month. A block of the month quilt kit is intended to be completed over several months. Many of our quilting kits include block of the month projects.
The main difference between a BOM and a quilt kit is that a kit is delivered all at once, but a block of the month is typically a larger quilt and delivered block by block.
