A is for Apple Downloadable PDF Quilt Pattern | Ellis & Higgs

Product Review (submitted on October 26, 2018):

To start, I'm going to be posting this review on all the patterns I've purchased from Ellis & Higgs because this review works for every pattern I've purchased.

I found Nadra Ridgeway years ago on Etsy when I was a fledgling quilter. I thought I'd start small and bought the Notting Hill mini. I was able to not only complete it, but it looked exactly like the picture. This boosted my confidence IMMENSELY. I immediately went back to her shop and ordered more. I was hooked.

I was so happy about these projects that I decided to send her a message. She responded with such humble gratitude and kindness. Since then, I've spoken with her a handful of times, and every single conversation with her has brightened my day. I'm only including this anecdote to explain that buying these patterns supports an incredibly rare person. She is warm and personable and her work is beautiful.

As for the patterns, they are laid out to work with Alphabitties, which I prefer, and are incredibly easy to follow. If the pattern has multiple blocks, each block is separated into its own section and has a layout at the end on how to piece the blocks together. The pictures are clear and easy to read. They are, in my opinion, the perfect pattern.

Clearly, I'm totally a fangirl of Ellis & Higgs, and I promise that you'll be, too. I'm so incredibly delighted to see her patterns here at Fat Quarter Shop!
