Awesome--But Needs Refills Review by Sandy

I love these marking pencils! They make a nice consistent line, yet are easily eraseable with the white erasers and/or water.

I also love how the click-to-advance or -hide the lead system works. The rubberized, triangular-shape of the pencil makes it comfortable to do a lot of marking, and keeps it from rolling off of my table!!!

Since it's a little thicker than other ceramic lead type pencils, the marks seem to last longer and be easier to see. The thicker lead also holds up a little longer when using it in a stencil to mark a grid or quilting motif. Friction, caused by the lead rubbing against the sides of the stencils/templates, seems to "saw" little pieces off of any marking pencil lead, which makes me use up a lead very quickly!

That leads to the only reason I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5 stars (would give it 4.5 or even 4.75 stars, if possible): they don't make refill "leads" for these. That's at least as far as I've found, and assuming that if they did, Kimberly would carry them! It seems like such a waste to use these once, then throw away a wonderful pencil.

I did take mine apart, and it sure looks like the normal, refillable, mechanical pencil parts inside, tho. Hopefully I'll find refills, or they'll start making/selling them.
