In her new quilt pattern, Kim Diehl takes the nine-patch concept to create two blocks with a rich play of fall colors. Simple Saw Tooth Stars frame scrappy nine-patch centers using multiple prints and backgrounds. However, it is the Goose on the Loose block that takes the unequal nine patch concept to new heights. Using hourglass units and corners on squares, Kim creates a churn dash in the block center.
