Aurifil 100% cotton 28 wt thread is ideal for hand applique, piecing, and quilting. Cotton 28 weight thread creates texture to your quilt top if used for longarm or machine quilting and machine embroidery. When machine quilting with Aurifil 28 wt thread, use Aurifil Mako 50wt in the bobbin, slightly increase your stitch length, lower your top tension, and use Topstitch size 90 needles.
